Aaaargh!!! no 8600GT for me!

I just found out today that the stupid shop keeper made a mistake when he gave me the price of the 8600GT, it actually costs 50 dinars more than he first told me. I can still afford it, but that's not the problem, at this price the Value-for-Money isn't good. meaning it's better to either get a higher-end card -for more money ofcourse- or just keep my money till I can import the card I really want from Dubai or the UK.
Oh well, At least I can keep watching the animes and movies that I have stashed on my hard drive until I get the card I want. My stash should last at least 2 more months.

I don't think another 50 LD's would make that much difference you know a good card like that is pretty expensive even abroad ..... but if you can wait there are a number of guys in Benghazi's ( Misrata street ) who will order it for you from Dubai in a matter of weeks ....

salaam

Well it actually does make a difference. This card isn't a real high-end card, just mid-end. Now I'm thinking of saving up for a month or 2 and then getting a real high-end card. By the way, you mentioned Misrata street in Benghazi :), I have very good connections in Misrata street since I worked in a computer shop in Benghazi before moving to Tripoli. The problem is when they bring it here it will probably be overpriced.

lol, I do watch Animes, and I won't argue with you, some of them can get very repitive and boring after a while. But trust me there are some real good ones. And about the "imaginary" part :), sure it's imaginary, that's not a problem at all with me. I think you'll really change your mind if you give them a try ;).
I wish you didn't mention that you're hungry, you reminded me of my own stomach :(, I'm at work ansd lunch is 2 hours away :((

If you have good connections there, it shouldn't be overpriced ... they've never overcharged me :).

As for high end cards, you know that a good Nvidia card costs up to 350 USD in North America ? So there isn't a cheap high end card :P
